Marketing and Communications Coordinator

In this role you will be 100% responsible for the RENO brands in Denmark and Scandinavia and plan and direct our marketing efforts towards the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish distributors and customers. At the same time, you are part of the Atlas Copco group and collaborate internationally with colleagues in Italy and Belgium.

RENO is a mid-sized company of 60 employees, and we need a strong marketing and communications professional to support and improve our branding in the Scandinavian market. You will report directly to the General Manager. Depending on your preferences you can choose between our offices in Egå by Aarhus or in Thyregod by Give to be your primary location. If based in Egå, please expect to work in Thyregod at least once a week.

With the use of your great teamwork abilities, you will provide marketing related support to the sales and service teams. In collaboration with our sales teams, you help ensure that distributors are promptly updated with product and service information and you assist with correct branding for our products.

Your mission is to drive the marketing and communication for our brands RENO, Alup, Pneumatic and Chicago Pneumatic in the Scandinavian market. You will lead the digital marketing communication and create and distribute regular internal and external communication in line with group guidelines (campaign materials, newsletters for distributors and an internal newsletter).

On a strategical level you will increase and improve the digital presence of the company - website, SOME, email marketing and product related articles, so it is important that you are comfortable producing technical texts and content. You are responsible for identifying communication gaps in our strategy and come up with the appropriate solutions. An important part of this will be driving lead generation from campaigns and work alongside the sales team to track and grow the pipeline – we use the CRM Cloud for Customer.

Other elements of the job are to:

  • Liaise with corporate communication teams in the Division to ensure updated information is available
  • Coordinate advertising, promotions, customer days and other related events
  • Work in InDesign to create brochures, catalogues, and other marketing materials
  • Develop and execute end-to-end campaigns using our various communication channels
  • Track and prepare reports on the effectiveness of marketing programs (website analytics, reporting on marketing efforts)
  • Ensure regular, consistent, and inspiring communication both online and offline
  • Set-up and coordinate point of sale materials
  • Assist with planning and administration of events, hospitality, exhibitions, and trade shows with regard to point of sales materials, logistics and attendance lists

You will be responsible for the marketing budget and expected to take ownership of marketing costs.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be excited to raise brand awareness. You have 2 to 3 years’ experience in a sales and marketing environment and professional working experience with relevant applications such as InDesign, CMS and Photoshop. Previous experience with Sharepoint would be a plus. Furthermore, you have experience in managing different marketing ventures as well as knowledge of and preferably experience with Google Ads, SEO and E-mail marketing and competent with production of printed materials/print ready files.

You are innovative by nature and able to take initiatives and you handle multiple assignments and pressure well. You have strong and organizational skills which make you ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.

As a basic prerequisite for the role, you are a competent user of various IT packages, such as databases, website content management, and reporting systems, Microsoft Office, have a technical mindset and are eager to learn new IT technologies when needed. Written and spoken Danish and English on a fluent professional level is a must. Swedish language would be a plus. Furthermore, you have a university degree in communications, marketing or similar through work experience.
