Help our clients succeed abroad!
MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad and several of our clients are focusing on the Norwegian market. This is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our native speaking team in Copenhagen. We need your help with localising webshops to launch in Norway, as well as customer service, translations, and monitoring of social media on behalf of our clients. In other words, our new colleague should be able to manage all tasks required for a webshop to succeed on the Norwegian market.
We have a great time at work - and after! First of all, we prioritise that everybody’s workday includes a variety of tasks. We also make sure you are served a good and healthy lunch, great coffee, fruit and too much cake. Every Friday we like to enjoy a drink or two after work, and we also arrange great parties and other social gatherings throughout the year. This is a full-time position and you will be working from our office at Amager, Copenhagen. Here you will find 80+ colleagues from 8 different countries all doing a great job helping our customers to succeed abroad. We help businesses with the initial strategic decisions and localisation of their online shops, to make sure they meet expectations in the new country. Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning, and execution.
MakesYouLocal was established in 2010. The idea came from more than 10 years of work in leading Danish online shops, selling in several countries.
We focus on the 3 business areas described below and help businesses with everything requiring native language skills and cultural understanding, from initial market research to daily shop management and customer service. We have offices in Copenhagen, Berlin, Vilnius and Brno, and with our cross-border e-commerce experience from more than 400 projects and our +100 native e-commerce savvy employees, we work closely with our clients to secure international success.

What we expect from our next colleague

- to be able to speak and write fluently in Norwegian
- to be able to translate from English, Swedish and Danish
- to have relevant job experience, from e-commerce, customer service, retail, or another relevant position
- to be comfortable with a computer and willing to learn new stuff
- to have been living in Norway for most of your life
