Canon EMEA is looking for a Category Marketing Lead for the Sustainability and Workspace B2B marketing segments.
In this role, you will contribute to Canon’s B2B business by leading marketing strategy and tactics for both the Workspace (office) market and the Sustainability segments to ensure all channels are being fully optimised through an innovative programme of activities including demand generation campaigns, market awareness and retention marketing.
By leveraging the expertise of internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure that all KPIs (including the lead and sales growth targets) are met for your areas of responsibility.
You will maximise return on investment based on your approved budget for all marketing activities in your defined segments.

In addition to a salary of between £67,000 - £75,000 you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. As Category Marketing Lead for Sustainability and Workspace marketing segments you will:
- Define and execute omni-channel marketing programmes aligned to Canon's workspace (office) business and its target audiences for relevant products, services and integrated applications- Own the Digital Printing & Solutions (DP&S) wide marketing strategy for sustainability and work with internal Business Units to define and activate the programmes and initiatives required to promote Canon’s B2B sustainability credentials aligned with corporate guidance.
- Responsibility for Canon's national sales organisations (EMEA countries)'s activation including deployment support, measurement and performance optimisation.
- Work as primary interface for category sales leads, ensuring MQL targets are achieved and conversion to SQL are optimised.
- Have a leadership role in managing all marketing campaigns related to assigned remits. Control budgets in both the planning and execution process of a campaign; solve problems in the execution of campaigns and maximize the ROI. Conceptualise campaigns aligned to industry best-practices.
- Work closely with content team, Sales Enablement, Corporate Comms, Business Units, and key National Sales Organisations to ensure campaign strategies are fit for purpose.
- Leverage paid and organic channels alongside outbound communications to ensure the best mix of tactics and channels are utilised to achieve campaign KPIs
- Leverage the Demand Lead Generation team to plan best practice ‘always-on’ marketing automated campaigns.
- Use analytics to maximise ROI and identify optimisation opportunities, driving performance marketing in all areas.
- Inform specific customer journeys to maximise our customers’ experience of the Canon B2B brand
As Category Marketing Lead you have:
- Previous experience in B2B marketing, campaign design & execution
- Knowledge of effective performance marketing techniques for the purpose of improvement of ROI
- Understanding / experience of sustainability marketing within large corporate
- Experience of using different media channels (e.g. Web, search, social, press, events, etc.); ability to evaluate and select the most preferable outlets to ensure information is effectively delivered to target audiences.
