LOCATION
Whilst the role is based primarily in London, you will work with the global Marketing and Creative team in Denmark, and together with our Marketing teams across our franchise partner store network in UK, EMEIA, LATAM, Japan, Asia Pacific and North America.

  • Reporting to Global Marketing Director, based fulltime in either UK ( with full right to work in the UK) with occasional travel to Denmark or fulltime in Denmark.
  • You will have flexibility to work remotely but also be part of a modern and informal working space.
  • Temp to Perm Contract starting ASAP, to be reviewed after 6 months.

THE ROLE
We operate more than 300 successful franchise stores in 65 countries, and multiple local site editions of BOCONCEPT.com. To drive further brand growth we seek an ambitious talented Global Social Media Lead to grow and engage global social audiences.

As the Social Media Lead, you will be individually responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances our BOCONCEPT brand identity and supports business KPIs.

You will lead the social media team publishing team, oversee content creation, and manage all social media channels across all markets; to drive BOCONCEPT’s reach, engagement, and win new traffic to site and stores. You will work in work in close cooperation with our London and Danish global brand team, and our national marketing teams in key markets all over the world.

This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with a deep understanding of premium lifestyle branding, strong creative instincts, and a proven track record of using data and insight to driving results in the digital space.

THE TASKS

  • Develop BOCONCEPT’s global presence on social media further based on performance analysis, new trends etc.
  • Lead operational publishing team based overseas; providing daily direction and troubleshooting where we have asset localisation or non-compliance issues.
  • Social Content Creation & Publishing– management of content calender and consistent posting schedule.
  • Brief our team of creatives on needs for monthly content plan and oversee & guide content production in accordance with planned campaigns and previous performance
  • The role is responsible for leading BOCONCEPTs channel, account and content strategy across IG, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin and future development of Tik Tok
  • Report to key markets on performance and selected KPIs, and ensure optimization to reach our goals
  • Feed social metrics into regular channel performance reports, make strategic recommendations to optimize based on your constant analysis
  • Guide junior colleagues and student workers on reporting tasks and community management
  • Monitor key markets’ advertising performance and work with national agencies on optimization
  • Assess and evaluate influencer cooperation
  • Advise and support national marketing teams on social media performance and presence
  • Drive audience engagement and UGC (also for use across website and newsletters)
  • Drive integration of social platform data into Power BI for streamlined insights
  • Be the ambassador for all new trends and platform capabilities, and guide BOCONCEPT to capitalise on relevant consumer trends; eg Social search, keywords and concepts.


We’re looking for someone that

  • knows Facebook’s/Instagram’s/LinkedIn’s/etc. tools in depth
  • has experience setting and evaluating KPIs across social media platforms (both organic and paid)
  • has experience building content plans and briefing creatives on needs
  • has a keen eye for and knowledge of what works and what doesn’t work on social media
  • has worked strategically with social media advertising, ads optimization and reporting ( you may have grown your expertise within an agency and are excited about an in-house role)
  • has worked with influencers and knows how to evaluate partnerships

It is an advantage if you

  • have worked with a global social media structure
  • have experience with a social media management platform
  • have worked in a larger (global) organization with many different stakeholders
  • have (a basic) knowledge of Google Analytics

  • have a strategic mind and are analytical
  • understand numbers and can use these in context to explain and argue your point
  • speak and write English fluently


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the luxury or premium sectors.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful social media strategies for a global brand.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling content.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for interior design, and staying updated with industry trends.
