This positions reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Planning, Devices and Customer Experience, IO-SO, and is based at our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Position In this newly created position as Senior Manager, Commercial Planning, you will act as the key point of contact for our therapeutic leads in Diabetes, Obesity and Rare Disease. It will be your responsibility to understand their strategic insight needs, connect with our commercial analysis and business insights colleagues in GBS, and ensure to deliver on providing these insights. These key commercial insights will be used to drive strategic, commercial decisions, which will impact our 194 countries in IO. Working in IO-SO, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from different functions and, due to the scope of this position, you will gain exposure to activities from across the commercial organisation. You will have the opportunity to support with ad hoc requests coming from the senior leadership team and the IO EVP, where you will be given the visibility to present your analysis and findings. In addition, you will provide commercial planning input to key planning processes, for example during AB. The longer term objective of this position is to support the establishment and organisation of commercial insights in IO-SO CAS, driving the understanding of commercial data, developing internal capabilities, and developing effective collaborations with internal and external stakeholdeders. Qualifications During your time working in the pharmaceutical industry, you have developed a strong commercial mindset, combining solid analysis skills, a broad understanding of the business, and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with colleagues from different functions, organisational layers, and cultural backgrounds. You may have experience working in an affiliate in sales, marketing or business analysis; you may have worked in a global brand team; or, perhaps, you bring a background in consulting.
