The Position As a Head of ESG Data & Strategy in the ESG Strategy & Intelligence department, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing and developing a small team of data experts and strategy project managers, ensuring delivery, development, and well-being.
  • Driving target-setting processes across sustainability, ensuring a robust data foundation and approach.
  • Ensuring seamless processes and high quality in progress tracking and management reporting.
  • Driving insights generation and forecasting on footprint and performance in relation to key targets and strategic sustainability priorities.
  • Driving key strategic cross-functional projects project within ESG and sustainability.
    • You will work closely with stakeholders both across the sustainability organization and across the company on complex problems and data challenges. You will thrive in this job if you like to challenge the status quo while ensuring the important details are taken into account. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A Master’s degree in economics, business, data science or a similar field.
  • Several years of working experience in data analysis and insights, including management reporting, forecasting and progress tracking; with excellent command of Microsoft Office and BI tools, as well as a good understanding of programming.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing complex problems with multiple sub-deliverables.
  • Excellent skills in driving strategy execution and change management in a cross-functional setting.
  • Experience with people leadership.
  • Experience working with sustainability-related topics, ideally in a large global corporation.

About the Department The ESG Strategy & Intelligence department is driving a broad range of ESG and sustainability-related topics including assessing new reporting regulation, management reporting, data and insights, communications, external trends and intelligence, and cross-functional projects while also facilitating collaboration with the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Sustainability Advisory Council. The team is international and cross-functional collaboration is highly valued. Cultivating team spirit, continuous development and trust are all central priorities for the team. The ESG Strategy & Intelligence department is part of the CVP area Global Public Affairs & Sustainability within the EVP area Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs.
