The global marketing communications team in Esbjerg, Denmark promotes game-changing safety solutions for the world’s largest cruise ships and ferries to cargo vessels and oil rigs, operating from the Arctic to the tropics.
We have an opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist (maternity cover) located in Esbjerg. Reporting to the Global Marketing Communications Manager, you will be part of VIKING’s global team where you will focus on coordinating and developing the digital side of the company’s marketing communication platforms to internal and external audiences.
You’ll be expected to work with digital communications across multiple platforms: intranet and multiple company websites, including our ambitious e-commerce activities and similar. This position involves both project management, concept development and practical implementation. Therefore, it requires a broad experience within marketing and related digital projects.
We cover many different business segments and regions of the world, so you’ll need to be good at managing your time, as well as able to juggle a constant flow of tasks without dropping the ball – and you must be able to change gears at a moment’s notice. To do it, you’ll need an excellent grasp of English, as well as experience working with CMS systems, user interfaces, analytics, graphics and other ingredients of the digital marketing mix.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
· Digital project management from briefing and concept development to practical implementation, including ecommerce platforms for BtB and BtC
· Manage processes around online content for internal and external communications
· Develop ecommerce platforms and activities
· SEO, digital analytics and KPI tracking/reporting
· Maintain and develop portals, intranet, digital marketing assets
Got what it takes?
You have experience from a similar role and relevant educational qualifications. Ideally, you’re a team player, eager to contribute and assist colleagues and not afraid to make an extraordinary effort if and when needed.
In a truly global organization as ours, excellent spoken and written English is necessary. If you know Danish it is an advantage, but not a requirement.
