Location/Division Specific Information
In this role, you will be part of a highly creative and collaborative team who help scientists working in sectors as diverse as environmental testing, clinical diagnostics development, drug development and food and beverage testing, to make the world cleaner, healthier and safer through Thermo Fisher Scientific Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry solutions. You will achieve this by delivering relevant and inspiring marketing campaigns that serve to educate, inform and instill confidence in our complete solutions. Through these campaigns, you will identify new business opportunities in new and existing customers; nurture them to close and help to secure customer loyalty across EMEA target markets. This is a remote working role working from a European country.
What will you do?
In this role, you will help internal clients transform business strategy into regionally relevant inspiring marketing campaigns that create customer value, revenue and growth. Through building integrated customer journeys, crafting the right message and selecting the right channel mix, the marketing campaign specialist helps shape and deliver key EMEA marketing campaigns, whilst maximising on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).

How will you get here?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
Experience:
- Have a solid background in marketing across the entire mix including website, mobile, video, social, e-commerce, seminar, direct sales and channel partners
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple diverse projects in parallel
- Be able to develop content strategy in collaboration with more technical regional marketing managers, in order to target the right audience in an effective manner
- Be data-driven and adept in the use of metrics for optimising omni-channel campaigns
- Be comfortable with collating results and reporting to wider teams in a clear way, including making recommendations to improve performance – always with growth/revenue objectives in mind.
- Ensure that marketing campaign content is legally compliant, by working with legal and regulatory teams
- Set up promotions with tracking capability
- Craft good marketing copy that is suitable for the chosen media/channel
- Be creative and open to new ideas, regardless of origin
- Be flexible and ready to collaborate with other teams whenever needed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role across any industry
- Digital and social media marketing experience
- You must be a vibrant, self-motivated and confident marketing professional
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organized
- As this role is remote be able to connect via various means to meet with colleagues
