In this context, we are looking for a new colleague who can contribute in the journey towards reaching the goal through higher digital reach, conversion and lead generation to our stores around the globe.
The position
The primary focus of this position is to maintain and develop BoConcept’s strong presence on social media in close cooperation with your colleagues in the head office and our national marketing teams.
You decide on KPIs and make sure that we reach these KPIs, suggest new routes to test in content production & advertising and stay informed of new trends within the interior design industry.
The position has a big focus on reporting and optimization based on previous performance. You’ll need to be familiar with managing large data sets and extracting the most important learnings.
You’ll be responsible for setting the direction on our organic and paid content for all social channels in close cooperation with our creative manager, and you’ll brief and guide our team of creatives on the needs.
We use primarily Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, but will start exploring TikTok and Snapchat soon.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive BoConcept’s brand reach, engagement and conversion on social media to ultimately drive website or store traffic
- Execute paid and organic social media strategies for brand and large product portfolio
- Brief our team of creatives and externals on needs for monthly content plan and oversee & guide content production in accordance with planned campaigns and previous performance
- Brief markets and franchise partners on the implementation of social campaigns, providing assets and clear instructions on audience targeting
- Input to marketing colleagues on campaign planning
- Report to key markets on performance and selected KPIs, and ensure optimization to reach our goals
- Feed social metrics into monthly channel performance report and analyse the performance
- Guide student workers on reporting tasks and community management
- Monitor key markets’ advertising performance and work with national agencies on optimization
- Assess and evaluate influencer cooperation
- Scale utilization of User Generated Content platform
What we are looking for professionally is someone who:
- is pro-active with a “can-do” attitude and ability to drive our social media agenda
- is organized and detail oriented with a self-motivated personality
- can work independently within teams and ask the right questions to get the job done correctly and efficiently
- has a strategic mind and is analytical
- understand numbers and can use these in context to explain and argue your point
- speak and write English fluently
It is an advantage if you:
- have worked with a global social media structure
- have experience with a social media management platform
- have worked in a larger (global) organization with many different stakeholders
- have (a basic) knowledge of Google Analytics
You can see yourself in this position as you:
- know Facebook’s/Instagram’s/Pinterest’s/LinkedIn’s/etc. tools in depth
- have experience setting and evaluating commercially relevant KPIs across social media platforms (both organic and paid)
- have experience building content plans and briefing creatives on needs
- have a keen eye for and knowledge of what works and what doesn’t work on social media
- have worked strategically with social media advertising, ads optimization and reporting
- have worked with influencers and knows how to evaluate partnerships

As you will be part of a small, but highly collaborative team, we are looking for an experienced marketeer, who can lead the social media presence, partner with other specialists in our digital teams as well as with our Head of Channels.
Your work will be directly linked to our marketing ambitions to reach more consumers, drive engagement, and steer consumers through the purchase funnel. Because you have done this before, you know the shortcuts and pitfalls relevant to a global social media presence.
You will refer to our Head of Channels and your main work base will be in Herning in a new Activity Based Workplace, where we also offer the flexibility to work from home.
The position is a maternity cover planned for 12 months. Ideally you will be able to join us on 1 September 2022, and we expect the maternity cover to end 31st August 2023. As we are a company in growth, extending the employment to a permanent position might be possible.
