ALK is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally. Since 2018 we have been investing heavily in digital consumer-facing activities via our Consumer Care business unit. Consumer Care is put in place to engage potential end-customers of ALK earlier in their disease journey. Through digital engagement tools, e-commerce and innovative partnerships such as telehealth solutions and in-pharmacy allergy clinics we try to make simple solutions for people living with allergy. The team is operating globally in markets such as USA, Germany & UK, with more to come. To support this journey, we’re looking for a new Digital Marketing Manager to join our Consumer Marketing team.

The position

Do you love digital marketing and do you have a constant urge to improve campaign performance, CPAs, CPLs etc., to ultimately improve our business? Do you have a performance mindset and get motivated by reaching ambitious goals that directly impact the bottom line of the company? Do you have strong growth ambitions – both personally and for the business you work for? Can you move seamlessly between strategy, planning and execution across channels? If so, you might be the Digital Marketing Manager we are looking for.

Areas of responsibility

  • Drive marketing planning and execution across all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, paid social media, programmatic and display advertising campaigns. Coordinate and align database marketing with overall marketing plan
  • Ensure efficient collaboration with media and creative agencies and other vendor partners
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights
  • Develop new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan hypothesis testing, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Drive conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate


Your qualifications

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, media planning and ad buying
  • Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, paid social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns and creative hooks that engage, inform and motivate action
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, DV360, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Fluent in English (Danish is not a requirement)


The department/team

The Consumer Marketing department consists of six passionate colleagues who are based in the Consumer Care business unit that employs a global team of 20+ people. We strive to change the way people manage their allergies. We aim to constantly improve ourselves and our processes in order to meet the needs of people with allergy, our colleagues and partners. We are driven by a high level of professionalism, integrity, an open-minded approach and contributing to an inspiring and fun working environment together with our colleagues.

The position is located at the ALK headquarter in Hørsholm and it is necessary to live in an area where it is possible to commute daily to the office.
