Join Coloplast ensuring well-founded and economically sound reimbursement strategies for our new products across markets. Use your experience in a challenging role where you pave the way for new treatments that make a significant difference in the lives of people with intimate health care needs around the world.
As Director of Market Access, you lead our global Market Access team within Ostomy Care and Wound Care as well as ensuring value documentation for our patient support programs and integrated solutions. You do this by providing leadership and direction for five highly skilled, energetic and humorous colleagues. Also, as part of our Global Payers & Trade management team, you work together with the other teams to ensure optimal pricing and market access strategies for both existing products and new innovations.
Market Access & Health Economics
When joining our Market Access team, you work closely with highly motivated colleagues driving the clinical and health economic standard within our therapeutic areas. The organization operates in an international setting and is continuously growing. You should expect 25-35 travel days per year building a global network with subsidiaries and external partners, assisting their processes and supporting reimbursement and market access projects.
Additionally, to bring our new productions to market, it is key for you to have a close collaboration with medical associations, patient/disability organizations, payers and policy makers as well as local HEMA vendors.
Support Product Innovation & Global Market Access Projects
Your team holds an important and strategic role in building compelling value argumentation by utilizing clinical and health economic evidence, supplemented with local data. Within Coloplast, our value documentation varies from scientific rationales, in-vitro data, user surveys, randomized controlled trials, meta-analysis, real world evidence and evidence opportunities emerging from new digital platforms.

Within your area of responsibility, you:
- Develop reimbursement strategies- and tools to support local applications and negotiations with payers within Ostomy Care and Wound Care
- Provide strategic input to both product, clinical and health economic evidence design during the product development process
- Drive the global support to our subsidiaries in local reimbursement and market access activities
- Develop our capabilities and processes to address local budget holders and procurement entities (e.g. shape tender criteria and building of new product categories)
- Further develop our capabilities to demonstrate the value and health outcomes generated by our patient support programs and integrated/digital solutions
Experience with Market Access, Value Documentation and with Strong Communication Skills
- You have a master’s degree in health economics, health sciences, public health or a related field
- You have 10+ years of experience with health economics and international market access, preferably including experience in planning and executing premium launches
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to convey scientific value argumentation to non-health economists
- You have a commercial mindset combined with strong numeric skills and scientific understanding
- You have experience with managing a team of specialists and understands the importance of motivating and developing your employees
