About the department

A key driver is Evidence and Adoption as we are responsible for shaping the clinical ambition, supporting our business and driving world-class Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and influencer (nurse) engagement to increase standard of care globally.
The job
As the local medical strategy expert, you will manage a variety of activities and projects, providing medical expertise in the product development and product launches. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving a global KOL advisory board to support the business with evidence, education and medical knowledge.
Our team is a diverse group of highly experienced specialists, who take great professional pride in delivering quality to, learning from and collaborating with our customers and the Coloplast organisation.
Some of your key focus areas are:
You will have around 30 days of travel per year, supporting Coloplast subsidiaries and participating in medical congresses and meetings where you ensure KOL involvement and conduct, support or present clinical publications, presentations, posters or symposia.
Candidate profile
You probably have a Master’s degree within healthcare (pharmacy, medicine), life sciences (molecular biology, microbiology, engineering), nursing or similar. A PhD is an asset, but not a requirement. In addition to the educational background, it is important to have a commercial mindset to succeed in the role.
We expect you to have 5+ years of experience within health care marketing, biotech/pharma, clinical development and/or project management.
You have solid executional and project management skills and know how to link project strategy to the overall business. You appreciate good collaboration, being a team player with strong communication skills, as your ability to involve and activate our stakeholders is key to success.
It is important that you are curious and eager to learn and find it natural to keep your strong medical expertise up to date. Finally, you thrive in a cross-functional, global, ambiguous and at times hectic but fun work environment.

- Communicating clinical data resources and developing sales and educational tools to optimise the use of clinical studies to improve the standard of care for users
- Creating partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other health care professionals (HCPs) to foster ambassadors for our clinical direction
- Building and generating evidence to support our products and our educational offerings
- Developing and executing a global publication strategy through e.g. publications, posters and PR related activities
- Shaping and planning of international symposia to build awareness and support to specific treatments
- Project management
