Are you passionate about developing and executing marketing campaigns which drive sales interest?
Do you excel in communicating technical information in an accessible way and juggling several projects at the same time? If yes, you should apply for this exciting position at Palsgaard.
Your primary area of responsibility will be to work on global campaigns across all our food industry applications including Bakery, Dairy, Ice Cream, Confectionery, and Lipids. Working closely with our sales department, you will help to translate strategic sales ambitions into promotional campaigns which result in profitable leads.
You will be part of our global marketing team consisting of 4 skilled specialists each sitting with their own responsibility area. We offer a friendly, dynamic, and engaging work environment where we pursue strong collaboration to achieve our goals and have fun while doing so. We will make sure to give you a thorough onboarding, to inspire and support you, and give you the necessary training to ensure continuing professional development.
The position is based at our headquarter in Juelsminde (DK). You will report directly to Global Marketing Director, Phil Witcomb.
Main responsibilities include:
International travel to our subsidiary offices is part of the position, with an anticipated 20 days of travel per year.
What do you need to apply?
Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of the food manufacturing industry, having developed a career so far in an international food company in a marketing and communications-led position. You will have a proven experience of the business-to-business sales journey and will be able to develop effective campaign elements for each major touchpoint.
You might hold a master or bachelor’s degree within e.g., sales, marketing, or communication or you are an experienced marketer with a background in the b2b food industry. Most importantly, you are highly analytical and able to decipher strategic marketing objectives into operational goals.
You will be working with various stakeholders, and therefore, it is key that you have a pragmatic and supportive approach as well as a great willingness to learn. Furthermore, you are not afraid of sharing your views and opinions in a respectful and empathetic way.
You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the skill to develop effective presentations and copy text for both online and off-line campaigns. Your ability to translate technical product features and benefits into sales creating value propositions is key as well as having an eye for detail and the ability to quality-assure your work. It is an advantage that you have a good level of Danish language comprehension.

- Head the development and execution of global and regional marketing campaigns.
- Develop and improve procedures to link marketing and sales activities.
- Co-ordinate trade promotions, including advertising campaigns, public relations, trade shows, and distributor promotional activities.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign promotional performance.
- Co-ordination of vendors including creative agencies, trade show organizers, and media.
- Participation at trade shows and industry conferences.
