Moodagent Australia is seeking a Marketing Director to build and lead a high performing marketing team and strategy in an exciting start up environment. Our ideal candidate will have a track record of scaling a digital platform and demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious growth targets.
You will have experience leading a team, managing budgets, and developing tailored and effective marketing strategies in the entertainment and product marketing space. This position is responsible for the development and execution of all local marketing activities including brand, performance, and growth initiatives in collaboration with the Global Marketing team.
We are looking for a creative and analytical marketing expert who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and is not afraid to lead by example.
Based in Sydney, this role reports to the General Manager partnering closely with the Global Marketing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small team of high performing marketers.
- Develop a go to market and growth strategy that meets business and user objectives.
- Effectively manage a marketing budget and regularly report on marketing activities.
- Direct and support the collection, analysis and interpretation of market and audience research to identify opportunities for user acquisition, conversion, retention, and engagement.
- Design and execute end to end marketing campaigns via owned and non-owned channels.
- Partner with the Global Marketing and Product teams to optimize and localize our marketing efforts.
Who you are:
- You have 10+ years’ experience in growth marketing and scaling tech companies, ideally a successful startup.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- You have developed growth marketing channels and driven demonstrable results, owning, and achieving challenging KPIs.
- You are comfortable working with analytics and data and turning insights into compelling and actionable strategies.
- You are ambitious and creative and are prepared to develop and own campaigns for new-user acquisition alongside experiments for optimizing on/off platform initiatives.
- You have a strong understanding of marketing automation platforms and digital marketing strategy.
- Are comfortable working in an international, high-potential startup and wearing many hats.
- You are an excellent communicator and leader with experience in team development and cross functional working.
