Visma e-conomic is looking for a new Product Manager, who will get the opportunity to work cross-functional and at a technical level to create impact for our organization.
The Position:
The Design System team is responsible for ensuring a consistent visual design and user experience throughout the e-conomic product. The team's product is the company’s design system, Taco, and all that it encompasses—visual design, components and their code, common behaviors, and patterns for the whole application, as well as a number of larger cross-cutting features such as onboarding.
Ultimately, the team’s primary focus is to enable our product teams to concentrate on building products with a faster time to market, while simultaneously ensuring the design and user experience of our product continues to evolve.
As the Product Manager, you will be working in a cross-functional team with an engineering manager and lead UX designer, forming a "product trio." The team, along with other internal platform teams within the engineering organization, is crucial to Visma e-conomic’s ambitions and continued growth.

You will be joining our development organization, Products (R&D), which comprises over 150 employees primarily located in Denmark and Romania. Our team works with a variety of technologies, including C#, Node.js, Go, React, MS-SQL, Swift, Kotlin, and MongoDB. We are a diverse group representing over 20 nationalities, including Developers, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and UX Designers.
In our organization, we build and design the cloud-based accounting system e-conomic.dk, which assists more than 190,000 satisfied companies in running their businesses. Handling over 50 million requests daily, we provide our brilliant developer teams with integrations and tooling that enable several production deployments every day.

The 20,000 m² building is the largest commercial building in Carlsberg Byen with room for over 1100 employees, and is within walking distance of S-trains and the metro. In this role, you will:
- Define the strategic direction for the design system by collaborating with stakeholders to balance the needs of our users with those of UX and DX. Ensure that this direction is visible and transparent.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Lead UX Designer as part of a product trio to lead the process for annual and quarterly planning, supporting the company's strategy.
- Evangelize the design system throughout the department to increase adoption and ensure it is moving in the right direction, meeting the needs and requirements of product teams.
- Refine the support and request process to support product teams and identify areas for growth, enabling the team to focus on building the design system.
- Measure the impact of the design system both internally and externally, and enhance the developer and designer experience in its day-to-day.
We are looking for someone with:
- Product management experience
- A Platform-as-a-Product mindset
- Experience in design or UX, or working closely with those disciplines
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid commercial understanding
- The ability to identify and assess the impact of product features on the business strategy
Maybe you have
- Experience working with design systems
- A background as a designer, researcher or within UX
- A good understanding of working with software engineers, though it isn’t essential
- Experience from other SaaS or cloud software companies
