Can you identify optimization opportunities across website and systems and optimize hands-on?

If you have a couple of years’ experience as e.g. website manager and you are ready to utilize all of your experience in a more independent specialist role, this job is tailored to you. You will join a leading provider of video management software with customers and partners all over the world, meaning your work at our website will benefit hundred thousands of visitors per year. Please note that the position is a maternity cover. However, as we are growing rapidly and you will acquire lots of useful knowledge, there will be other opportunities in the Milestone organization at the end of the period.

You make things happen from identification of problem to final solution
Your primary focus is to make it easier to be Milestone customer and partner by making our published web pages and their functionalities better. You will do so by identifying specific optimization opportunities. You see the website through the eyes of the visitors, and every time something seems too complicated, you cat on it; e.g. how can we minimize number of click in this specific customer journey? Then you set up tests, evaluate results and implement when it makes sense. You will:

• Identify optimization opportunities at our website including opportunities for personalization
• Set up AB test and user surveys, evaluate and implement results (and implement user feedback box when relevant)
• Ensure content is technically SEO optimized (correct use of header, meta tags etc.)
• Report on your activities and share learnings with your team colleagues and stakeholders
• Work close together with developers on optimizing load time performance
• Build low fidelity wireframes to help you communicate your optimization ideas
• Evaluate, optimize and coordinate internal processes related to the website

Your stakeholders/customers will be owners of the different sections of our website, and besides developers you will collaborate with UX, designers and website managers.

Marketing degree and 1-2 years of website experience
As you will be trusted to make things happen, you must thrive on working hands-on and be able to turn data into actions. It’s natural for you to drive things forward, and you do not need other people to tell you what to do. As part of this, you have the guts to make decisions and try things out with additional curiosity for building new knowledge. Additionally, your CV comprises:

• A Masters’ degree in marketing or related
• 1-2 years of hands-on website experience
• IT savviness and motivation for building skills in Episerver (Optimizely), Optimize, Pardot and Invision
