Group Client Director for Accenture Song
Accenture Song, previously known as Hjaltelin Stahl, is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Group Client Director with a strong commercial business understanding, strategic mindset and creative curiosity, who will be responsible for some of their biggest clients, and who is able to build, maintain and strengthen solid client relations. Qualifications
The position
Accenture Songs new Group Client Director, will be one of the key points of contact for day-to-day management of some of its biggest clients. With a strong commercial business understanding, strategic focus and creative curiosity, the Group Client Director will set the direction and framework for both existing and potential clients. With a deep understanding of complex needs and wants within branding and marketing, you will act as the main driver of establishing strong and sustainable relationships, as the overall responsible for all activities and projects, with an array of different clients. This includes a proactive and solid focus on More Bizz and upselling towards existing client relations supported by a natural interest for mapping out and perusing New Bizz opportunities.
By an inspiring and walk-the-talk mentality you will be energizing an ambitious group of people internally, and hereby be the overall responsible for one of the agency’s crucial client pillars. Additionally, you will not only be working with client development and relations, but also have duty of leading and motivating your team as people lead, with a high level of awareness and an empathetic outlook.
The role will include specific responsibilities such as:
- Full customer and account responsibility - including budgets, strategy, and cooperation
- Marketing consultancy and strategic influence on client projects from A to Z
- Staging of digital offerings (together with the digital directors)
- Developing the agency through More Bizz, by sustaining, identifying, and innovating existing customer relations and solutions
- Responsibility for developing and executing New Bizz proposals and pitches
- Human and professional management as well as activation and staffing of your employees related to client portfolios
- Responsibility for employee development planning, including staff performance reviews
- Determining fire and hire, competence development and various course participations in your department
- Participation in the ‘Account leadership’ and the broader leadership forum, containing the top management and all people leads at the agency
Your Profile
The ideal candidate holds a Cand.merc or a similar education within marketing, branding and communication and comes with a commercial proven track-record of commercial, strategic and creative solutions from similar positions in an agency. You are a dedicated marketeer and a hybrid as brand strategist and generalist, marketing and sales consultant, and value-based people leader. You possess strong skills within customer and project management, thus have a natural talent in inspiring and advising clients, and you are engaged in relations and constantly strive for maintaining efficient relationships. It is also considered an advantage if you have an eye for mapping business potential while developing client solutions.
Driving new potential customers to the agency along with developing existing ones are facets you find thrilling and motivating, why you possess the abilities to create new business and strategies based on a strong commercial drive and understanding. You should be acquainted and have an interest within digital deliveries and the impact they can have. This includes a fine understanding of the digital aspects and tendencies within the industry, and you find it interesting and important to always be well-informed about digital trends to be applied in solutions and client consultancy.
As a large part of the role consists of people management, demonstrated leadership skills are imperative. You have a holistic approach to leadership, and you find yourself comfortable among people, while always having an eye for others’ needs and wants. You have a natural flair for guiding people and employees, which entails that you hold the ability to run projects from A to Z and to motivate and engage your team, as well as various marketing specialists – such as creatives, producers, digital consultants, and coders. When it comes to clients and projects, your approach is proactive and open-minded, and by virtue of your mindset, structured approach, and your experience, you will participate in accelerating future growth at Accenture Song.
