Do you want to join an international marketing team and help shape the branding of one of the world’s most iconic loudspeaker manufacturers?

Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker-maker, is looking for a new Social Media Specialist, based at our HQ in Skanderborg.

About the job

As our new Social Media specialist, you’ll be running our social media platforms in close cooperation with your direct manager and the rest of the digital marketing team. You are the voice of the brand, communicating directly to our current and potential customers, colleagues and partners.

You’ll join our global marketing team of 11 experienced and dedicated colleagues, as well as a network of marketing professionals located around the world. Together we’re responsible for the global marketing effort for one of the world’s largest loudspeaker manufactures. The team plays a key role in fulfilling the company strategy of long-term growth. We define go-to-market value propositions, new launches, campaigns, and support to local sales teams.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the SoMe part of our overall digital strategy
  • Owning the content distribution calendar in HubSpot
  • Maintaining the Dynaudio brand’s "tone of voice" in all communications
  • Being first in line to serve our community of Dynaudio enthusiasts, creating a world class user experience

About the department

We’re a team of 11 dedicated colleagues. With 4 nationalities, our workday is characterized as busy and challenging, but there’s always time for jokes, cake and coffee during the day. We support each other, having different backgrounds and various key competencies within content creation, consumer and trade marketing, digital marketing, graphic design and project management.

About you

You probably have a couple of years of experience running the social media platforms of a larger company, preferably a brand. You have experience with content distribution planning, global communication and communicating to several different stakeholders.

You have a good eye for aesthetics and the ability to make good on-brand choices to compliment the brand’s digital look and feel.

Previous experience with B2C communication and end user contact would be considered a plus. You’re on top of the ever-changing landscape of social channels and you’re good at recognising new digital marketing opportunities and how best to make use of them.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A go-getter with a high personal drive
  • Open-minded and resilient
  • Able to present themselves in a helpful, courteous, and approachable way (not least of all in writing)
  • Confident in being the voice of the brand in all digital communication
  • Able to deliver impeccably written English (other languages are a plus)
  • A music lover but not necessarily an audiophile

No previous knowledge of audio technology is required but you should be willing to familiarise yourself with the inner-workings of loudspeakers in order to be able to communicate about our products with your SoMe audience, as well as with your colleagues.

English is our main company language as well as our main language in external communication, so you need to be native or on a near-native level.

As social media responsible, I've always enjoyed the direct and immediate contact that I have with our end consumers. Dynaudio is one of the world's largest speaker manufacturers. Founded in 1977 in Skanderborg, Denmark, we have more than 40 years of experience in producing high-end speakers.

Today, Dynaudio exports to 80 countries around the world and has received awards everywhere for the products. Dynaudio today has approx. 300 employees. Development and production take place in Skanderborg, where Dynaudio, in collaboration with VW and other highly regarded car manufacturers, also develops sound systems. Dynaudio has extreme quality requirements and is highly certified.
