We are looking to add new resources and competencies to our Strategic Product Management team to accelerate this process.
With direct reference to our Head of Portfolio Management, you will be part of a team dedicated to “getting into our customers’ shoes” and focused on Kamstrup being the best supplier of intelligent energy metering and analytics products, solutions & services globally. Product Management is a front-runner for driving Kamstrup’s ambitions, especially in bringing solutions and services to the next level. To succeed we need to motivate and inspire stakeholders on all levels. Kamstrup wants to support customers in creating value from data and is in the process of developing new solutions and services for this purpose.
A job focused on defining innovative, digital, global, and green solutions for the Heating Industry
In this position of Strategic Product Manager, you will, for selected markets and customer groups, be responsible for understanding current and future needs within their value chain. And for specific areas be responsible for building and driving a profitable product roadmap covering products, solutions, and services as well as go-to-market strategies and market launches. To succeed you will work closely with internal stakeholders, e.g., Sales, R&D, Market Intelligence, and other Product Managers as well as with external customers and partners.
More specifically, your tasks include:
• Ensuring market and customer insight for selected markets
• Identifying and building value propositions on product and system level
• Converting features and use cases into solid USPs and market offerings
• Building product portfolio strategy and roadmap
• Establishing solid business cases and go-to-market strategies
• Securing optimum product launches in close cooperation with Marketing and Sales
• Ensuring a clear pricing strategy for your portfolio in close cooperation with our pricing manager
In this position, you can expect around 30 travel days per year.
Experienced profile with a passion for developing and driving business opportunities
We are looking for an ambitious profile who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver a winning solution. As our new Strategic Product Manager, you must have documented experience converting customer insight into value propositions and business opportunities, as this will be a key element of the job. We imagine that you hold a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Sciences, Engineering, or similar combined with 3 years of experience from a similar position. We expect that you have solid experience in product portfolio development and management as well as market launch.
As a person, you are analytical and driven by your desire to create change. You are outgoing and can build positive relations and communicate clearly to customers and stakeholders throughout the organization, and therefore you thrive with a wide range of stakeholders. You have a great business understanding and a proactive mindset, enabling you to identify and prioritize key value-creation levers and follow up on them.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
