The position The role of Associate Global Project Director is critical in supporting us in achieving our goal of becoming NASH leaders by doubling NASH diagnosis rates and ensuring the successful execution of our Therapy Area development plans. The Associate Director will work closely with VP and the partnership team in NASH as well as with external partners. The role will report to the VP of NASH. The Associate Director will primarily be responsible for driving the development of key strategic commercial projects in the partnership team and developing best practices for both the franchise as well as for the affiliates preparing for semaNASH launch. This requires the ability to provide clear direction to the cross-functional team and input providers, as well as communicate with external partners and develop business cases and recommendations for internal decision-making. The position is a maternity cover until the end of October 2024, however since the area is still growing, a permanent position may be available. The job includes the following key areas : Leading high complexity project to further expand the impact of diagnostic partnerships in NASH Direct external engagement with counterparts in established partnerships Ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and engagement, both with HQ colleagues as well as operations Supporting further development of diagnostic and partnership strategies for NASH and other liver-related indications Driving cross-functional working group on partnerships together with Alliance partner Functioning as a key resource for the broader diagnostic team by sparring with team members (both in HQ and in India) and contributing to the team's ongoing growth. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: A relevant academic degree at least a Master's degree Solid problem-solving skills to manage project scope, design project approaches, and create business cases Strong strategic and analytical skills to analyze data effectively and transform it into practical recommendations Ability to set direction and lead cross-functional work across the value chain Knowledge of biomarkers and the diagnostic ecosystem Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written Additionally, experience as a hepatologist and gastroenterologist and/or liver area would be advantageous. To be considered for this position, you are a strong team player with the ability to work effectively with people of different personalities. This role requires a strong drive for execution as well as experience with complex projects, governance decision-making, and interactions. As a person, you have solid leadership and interpersonal skills and high intellectual capacity and dedication. It is crucial to be assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape. Further, you thrive in a changing environment with a positive attitude even with pressure and pace. About the department You will be situated within the NASH Commercial Unit, which is a part of the SVP area encompassing Other Serious Chronic Diseases, including NASH, CVD, Alzheimer's, and CKD. This unit is located in Søborg, Denmark, and is comprised of a diverse team.
