If your answer is yes, join Novo Nordisk and the leadership team in the franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) as Vice President, Commercial Excellence to shape and lead the execution of commercial projects and strategies. The Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President, franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Preferably, the position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Position As Vice President, Commercial Excellence, you are responsible for further shaping and leading the execution of commercial excellence projects, developing comprehensive commercial processes and strategic plans, and ensuring the clear execution of launch readiness for the therapeutic areas within the franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Your role extends to developing and executing a consistent Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy and execution, innovative commercial models, assessment of diagnostic partnerships if relevant, brand planning across all therapeutic areas and fostering budget efficiencies in the relevant go-to-market (GTM) model. You will also take charge of crafting the AI franchise strategy partnering with the Novo Nordisk value chain, and leading initiatives in Human-Centered Design and Evidence-based Marketing Science to bolster competitive edge within the franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Additionally, you are expected to streamline an Integrated 5D Strategy for Cardiovascular Disease across the value chain. Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have: Master’s degree preferably in the field of business or science. 6+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably across the value chain (project and marketing experience, early product development, lifecycle management, commercial strategy (both short and long-term), affiliate execution incl. P&L understanding). Proven experience shaping and leading the execution of Commercial Excellence projects. Experience working with R&D, marketing, pharmaceutical products, or medical devices, with international exposure in a large organization. Experience entering new therapy areas and alliance and partnership management. Solid leadership experience and great at managing stakeholders at all levels. Strong capacity for work and managing multiple projects, delivering high quality on time with a high degree of results-orientation. Ability to successfully navigate and comply with relevant Novo Nordisk policies and SOPs. Great communication and presentation skills. Readiness to change and open and honest communication. Fluency in written and spoken English.
About the Department The commercial franchise is located in Søborg, Denmark, and focuses on Cardiovascular Disease, MASH, Chronic Kidney and Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) therapeutic areas.
