Can you build, develop and drive Kvik’s E-Commerce-platform and maximize the on-line sales across all markets?

At Kvik the mission is clear: To sell Danish design kitchens, baths and wardrobes at surprisingly low prices.

Kvik has grown sales 74% the last 7 years by growing sales in current stores, opening new stores and new markets. Today Kvik can be found in 164 stores in 11 markets - and a lot more stores will open this year. Since 2020 Kvik has offered customers many new ways of interacting by launching video meetings, Kvik Home and most recently chat.

Kvik wants to continue to grow at a high pace and wants to offer customers access to the brand 24/7. To deliver on these ambitions, Kvik has decided to hire a new and dynamic colleague to build Kvik’s business within e-commerce, including creating a webshop from scratch.

We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager, who will be responsible to maximize the online sale in Kvik across all markets. We see tremendous opportunities to create an attractive omnichannel experience for customers by leveraging the interaction between webshop and 164+ retail stores. It is our ambition initially to reach a sales share of 10% via the webshop.

Can you build a webshop, are you highly competitive and an excellent communicator?
You will be responsible for developing and creating our new webshop and for launching the concept successfully at the end of 2022. The measurable outcome of this new platform must be growth in sales within all product areas. To become a success, you must be able to fulfill four success criteria within 2022/2023:

  • Deliver high NPS on our webshop and positive feedback from our franchisees on this new channel
  • Understand and track:
    • cost per acquisition and lifetime value
    • cart abandonment rate and
    • average order value


The E-commerce Manager will manage the webshop team and oversee Kvik’s central E-com-budget.

The E-commerce Manager will report directly to the CEO in Kvik but have a close cooperation with three other major stakeholders; Country Managers (aligning on cooperation with franchisees), Marketing Managers (aligning on marketing and campaigns) & Digital Marketing (aligning on interface with Kvik websites in each market and development of the costumer journey).

As Kvik’s new E-commerce Manager you will get a position with a wide area of responsibility and many stakeholders. Kvik is looking for a profile who already have the experience in starting up and building a webshop in a Scandinavian or international set-up, and from a highly competitive environment. The right candidate masters the disciplines to prepare, to implement/manage and to coordinate according to the e-commerce and marketing strategy. Therefore, Kvik is searching for a person with the combination of skills within both webshop, e-commerce marketing and digital competences.

What does it take to be a part of Kvik?We expect you to have a relevant master’s degree and a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on leadership experience, managing a webshop or leading position in one or several webshop operations. In addition, you have a good understanding of retail business dynamics - both on store level, strategic level and especially when it comes to e-commerce.

You may have knowledge of Navision or other ERP tools. If you have experience from leading in a matrix organization and/or experiences as project leader - it is an advantage, as you will be the project lead developing the webshop business platform.

You are driven by innovation and development in general. You hold good communicative skills, as you communicate widely in the organization and collaborate with many colleagues/stakeholders in many different disciplines and countries.

Finally, you must already have proven results with growing profitable retail business units or webshops.

The job is a full-time position and your working place will be at the headquarters of Kvik A/S in Vildbjerg. Travel must be expected - national as well as international. We offer an attractive salary, bonus, company car and pension scheme.
