In CIM Engineering we are a team working with quality improvement on failed components, which are still in warranty. By investigating our way to the root cause through an engineering and inquisitive approach and improving solutions across the entire value chain.

The responsibility of a CIM Engineer Specialist is twofold. Firstly, to take part in the creative portfolio which includes tasks like identifying and defining the necessary activities for solving the prioritised CIM cases. Secondly, to focus on the processes and workflows within the department and optimise these for improving the overall business results of CIM Engineering. A CIM specialist also plays a very important role as an ambassador, supervising the team by showing the way with the right behaviour and attitude.

Responsibilities
As CIM Engineer Specialist in Group CIM Tower & Powertrain your key responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Taking responsibility for the technical solution across the entire value chain
  • Facilitating root cause analysis
  • Aligning with all affected stakeholders like System owners, service/ installation, legal, finance etc.
  • Ensuring continuous development of improvement solutions
  • Facilitating the dialogue with the supplier or manufacturer of the affected component
  • Testing solutions
  • Updating the necessary documentation like risk assessment, manuals, service message etc.
  • Technical Business support to Global Service and the regions


Qualifications
On a professional level, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Mechanical, Marine or Technical Engineering, e.g. with specialisation in drivetrain and tower technology
  • Experience in working with wind turbine drivetrain and tower components, aerospace, automotive, heavy Industries or similar
  • Experience in mechanical failure analysis and solution development, and knowledge of creating failure forecasts based on statistical methods
  • Familiar with DMAIC and CIM (Continuous Improvement Management)
  • Good English skills, both verbally and in writing

Additional information
Your primary work location will at our office in Aarhus or Ringkøbing, Denmark.

Some travel activity is to be expected.
