EPOS is an audio and video solution company developing and selling devices for business professionals and the gaming community.
Based on leading and advanced technologies, the Danish founded company delivers high-end audio and video solutions with design, technology and performance as paramount parameters. The establishment of EPOS is based on the decision to let the business segments of the joint venture – known as Sennheiser Communications – between Sennheiser Electronic GmbH & Co. KG and Demant A/S evolve in different set-ups.
Do you envision a future where you play a key role in an engaged and committed team, creating video devices of tomorrow? Are you motivated by mechanical product development of electronic devices from idea to product release? If you want to be our new Mechanical Project Lead working with concept development and NPI then we would love to hear from you!
We are currently building our video program, and as part of this process we have R&D activities in the Balkan region. Your role will be to bridge partner competences to EPOS HQ within the mechanical competence field. You should expect regular travelling of 8-10 weeks/year, as we believe close corporation is key to success. The video product category is relatively new to EPOS, and you will contribute to expand our mechanical competences and ensure our manufacturing knowledge and build services are utilized. Our ambitious growth strategy gives you an exciting opportunity to put your fingerprint on our global expansion and work in a buzzling and diverse environment.
Crafted to Last - Designed to Excite
Our Mechanical & Process Engineering team is part of the Device Development team within our R&D organization, where we have gathered some of the most experienced engineers and audio enthusiasts. You will be part of the mechanical team with strong focus on Front-end development of video programs together with selected partners. Naturally, you will interface to our in-house mechanical, electro-acoustic and hardware engineers, who are all part of the Device Development team. At EPOS HQ you will be part on a creative and dedicated Mechanical & Process Engineering team of 13+ people that will support you in specific design activities, reviews and in defining NPI requirements.
Our new Mechanical Project Lead within Video programs
Within the mechanical team your focus areas will be mechanical frontend activities, concept development integrating ME, AE and HW into video products. Creating robust design concepts, teamwork with many competence areas, planning activities, and travelling to visit and work with our partner will be part of your activities. To succeed in this role, you need to be creative, pro-active, have a strong can-do attitude and find it easy to cope with changes. As Mechanical Project Lead you are good at managing a variety of assignments in a persistent and structured way within the agreed time schedule.
The ideal candidate holds the following qualifications:
Mechanical engineer with 5+ years of experience. Strong coordination skills. Experience from working with external partners abroad. Experienced CAD user – at EPOS we use Creo.
It is a plus if you have experience within consumer electronics and integrating acoustical transducers.
On a more personal level, you:
Thrive in a cross-cultural work environment with a broad contact base to different competence areas. Are a strong communicator - communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Enjoy working in a busy R&D environment with many interfaces both internally and externally.
Joining EPOS
You will be working in a growing international company with rich opportunities for professional and personal development. Joining us you will work with state-of the-art technologies in a modern work environment, be part of an informal work culture, and have significant influence on your daily work.
