We are looking for an experienced Rotor Performance engineer for the Rotor Performance department, who is dedicated to the development of our future products. The team consists of 10 highly skilled engineers with a multi-cultural background and is responsible for modeling, validation and optimization of the performance of our wind turbines. Furthermore, the team contributes to our future rotor design and validation technologies. The team is a part of the Blades department in Offshore Technology Development and located in our Technology office in Brande. The job is an interesting mix between new product - and technology development.

How to contribute to our vision

As an Experienced Rotor Performance engineer, you are expected to take a leading role in defining new technology and product developments in the area of power performance. You will contribute to the validation of our prototypes and performance analysis and improvement of our rotors. Typical tasks involve data analysis, performance simulations, sales support and alignment with external parties. The role requires a broad value chain focus with contributions to the development of new technologies, scoping new product and customer interaction.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry in the field of Power Curves and wind turbine/farm performance. You have an engineering degree (PhD/MSc) in a relevant field and a good understanding of wind turbine aerodynamics. You have demonstrated experience with planning and coordination of development activities.

Excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, are a must in our international team, and it is of highest importance that you can communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, you have a result oriented and structured approach to your work, can handle multiple assignments simultaneously without losing overview. You are driving your work independently and collaborate effectively with numerous stakeholders. A driver license B is required for occasional work at (prototype) sites.
