The position of Maintainability Engineer has been made available under the scope of being the Technical Lead for the new SG5X platform. As Technical Lead In the Equipment and Methods section, the successful candidate will be expected to be the focal point for all maintenance task developments, working closely with Tooling Design Engineers for the creation of special tools as well as defining the Work Instructions of the maintenance tasks. Develop innovative, efficient and most cost-effective solutions for the business by validation and task methodology for preventive and corrective exchange concepts for SE, WA and PLM@SGRE including Factory Acceptance Test & Site Acceptance Test and specifications/documentation acc. to European legalization. Support Global training requirements in development and Installation and commission training simulators worldwide.Technology: Assure that optimizations and initiatives are documented and communicated to internal customers and business as support relevant stakeholders and business partner in regards to special Equipment, PPE and exchange concepts methods of components.

- Drive continuous technical improvement on legacy and new products on all Onshore platforms.
- Provide expertise and support component exchanges methods & tools concepts. Review and provide support on the ON fleet platforms.
- Provide technical support to development projects, related to training simulators.
- Support costumer and process governance of design, development, test and systems to exchange methods, tools and simulation.
- Deliver Service Product Requirement Specifications, Influence the Maintainability by working with ON.
Requirements:
- Experience as or qualified in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in the Siemens Gamesa platforms.
Self motivated, able to work autonomously, manage work load as well as coordinate with team members. Office and site based working environment: Perform office based tasks, admin and management of technical issues and use of software tools and packages. Site activities, adept at performing maintenance tasks, perform / coordinate FAT & SAT
- High level English is required
