How to contribute to our vision

Together, we develop and implement the production equipment needed to produce Offshore Blades and Nacelles in Denmark, England, Germany and China. Your key responsibilities will be to define, design, develop and implement equipment for new production plants and new production lines. You will work closely with internal departments such as Production and Process Engineering, Technology, Procurement and Quality as well as external suppliers around the world.

Striving to deliver equipment according to the agreed expectations your tasks include:

  • Design, develop, test and implement lifting equipment, platforms, machines, assisting equipment and tools following our standards and guidelines
  • Ensure high performance of new equipment with a focus on safety, quality and cost
  • Develop 3D design, 2D drawings and technical specifications
  • Project coordination to keep track of project deliverables
  • Technical adviser during quotation and order placement
  • Shop floor support in the installation and start of production phases

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer with project management skills and a personal drive. You will be involved in all project phases and thrive in a project environment characterized by cross-functional knowledge sharing. You know the importance of collaboration and communication.

To be successful in this role you preferably:

  • Have 5+ years of experience with design, technical specifications and documentation of production equipment – preferably from the wind industry or large-scale manufacturing

  • hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or perhaps within construction, production or similar field
  • possess project management skills
  • are an experienced and recent user of 3D CAD software - we use Siemens NX
  • have experience with Team Center is an advantage
  • have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing

You must be willing to travel 30 - 40 days per year if necessary
