Nacelle R&D Manager in Offshore Technology

In Nacelle R&D we are looking for a technical manager for the nacelle mechanical team. The mechanical team is based in Brande and is staffed with highly skilled engineers focusing on yaw system, service crane, composites and specifications of welds and steel structures.
How to contribute to our vision
•R&D manager for 8 highly skilled engineers who work with advanced FEA, advanced matlab tools, component and system testing, purchase specifications, concept work, technical negotiations with suppliers, customers and certification
•Coaching, recruiting, one-to-one dialogues, PMP, continues feedback etc.
•Development of roadmaps for each area of competence
•Competence mapping and development plans for each individual team member
•Close cooperation with R&D project managers securing the right competences and resources in R&D projects
•Develop new future key employees
•Front runner in focusing on quality, component integrity, codes and standards, best practice and continues improvement of analyze methods
•Development of competences in our Indian office
What you need to make a difference
•You have an educational background as a mechanical engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or similar and have experience in product development
•You have a proven track record in successful people management from a product development company
•You have a deep technical understanding and preferably also experience with wind turbines
•You are familiar with working in large matrix organizations and able to handle many tasks and interfaces simultaneously
•You thrive in a dynamic and international environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills
•You possess excellent English skills written as well as spoken
