Our customer is a global support organization with the purpose of delivering engineering, supply and project management within a wide range of applications and industries. The company is a global organization with offices and employees across the world.
At first it will be a temp position, and if you do well, it will end up in a permanent position.
About the job
As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordination of the mechanical engineering packages for several medium to high complexity projects, as well as to keep and develop our mechanical engineering discipline know-how on a high level.
Key tasks
Qualifications
You have a strong mechanical engineering background with relevant experience of at least 8-10 years as well as several years of practical project experience with process engineering & design work.
You have knowledge of and experience with engineering codes and standards and knowledge of piping stress calculations.
You must be fluent in written and spoken English. Project Management experience is an advantage.

As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordination of the mechanical engineering packages for several medium to high complexity projects, as well as to keep and develop our mechanical engineering discipline know-how on a high level.
Key tasks
- Coordinate design and engineering of products and solutions based on customer requests and applicable standards & codes
- Drive 3D piping layout work. Secure that everything fits together between P&ID, vessel drawings, 3D piping layout
- Participate in detailed mechanical engineering work incl. vessels, piping and structural design
- Secure engineering verification and alignment with engineering workflows
- Deliver and drive improvement of current technical solutions and/or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate project requirements with the project manager
- Participate in customer meetings, inspection, testing and troubleshooting for deliveries.
