& friends is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to sell drives, automation products and solutions for Nidec Industrial Automation A/S. You will be located in Denmark.
Your professional qualifications are within electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering.
You have strong commercial and technical background in selling automation solutions with a focus on competitor conversions. New business development experience and
system and application knowledge would be an advantage.
Denmark will be your primary sales territory, but you will also be travelling within the EMEA region for meetings and training.

They specializes and handles motor and drives application products based on "everything that spins and moves", centering around a motor and drives business that comprises an expansive product line from small precision to supersized motors.
The Danish headquarter is located in beautiful surroundings at Hollufgård in Odense and is responsible for the Danish market. Nidec also has an office in Søborg.
As Technical Sales Engineer, you will be refering to the Scandinavian Sales Manager. It is a newly established position, which gives you the opportunity to put your mark on your own workday.
Job purpose
To implement successful strategies and tactics that support Nidec’s vision to become the best supplier of variable speed on the Danish market.
To identify, develop and win new business within the defined area through key growth initiatives and prospecting.
To grow the total automation solutions product sales for drives, servo, I/O, machine controllers etc.

Job details
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to be part of the CT Scandinavian Sales Team and you should:
- Identify new business opportunities within the sales territory and use existing database and own prospecting to grow sales.
- With the support from the Scandinavian Sales Manager, develop, implement and update a customer-centric business action plan aimed at growing sales and influencing the area to achieve ambitious sales growth.
- Work with existing customers to maximize business opportunities, maintain sales pipeline and forecasting tool.
- Plan and prepare monthly presentation for sales meetings, to report business to date and forecast data.
Core competencies
- Knowledge of company’s products and applications.
- Excellent preparation, opening, presenting, questioning, negotiation and closing skills.
- Good relationship builder inside and outside the organization.
- Strong technical background.
- Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers and a detailed understanding of the design process.
- IT literate and confident with MS Office applications and use of mobile communications.

- Excellent english verbal/written skills
- You speak fluent danish
