Your new role
This individual will be joining a strong, interdisciplinary team, where engagement and performance levels are high. You will become an important part of Signodes Global Innovation, Research and Development team.
The Global IR&D team at Signode is defined by their eye for quality, high performance, their enthusiasm for new technology and for their competitive designs.
In this role, you will be part of a highly competent team where engagement and performance levels are high.
Together with your colleagues in the global IR&D department, you will play an important role in developing new solutions for Signodes industrial products and components, innovating the processes involved, such as the packaging methods, Signodes current concepts as well as the ongoing production.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within mechanical engineering or similar and you have 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in a work environment dealing with R&D of mechanical design and construction.

- Knowledgeable user of 3D Cad and SolidWorks.
- Experience within PDM.
- Being able to contribute with your expertise and ideas on how to work with machine construction in various materials (i.e., iron, steel, or plastic).
- Collecting market data in collaboration with the sales department and our partners within distribution.
- Engaging in collaboration across departments to develop prototypes, where you will become responsible for prototype test, delivering, and presenting these to the stakeholders.
- Being a partner and advisor for product management to generate solutions which optimize products and creates an attractive selection for our customers.
