EXHAUSTO wishes to strengthen the department for specialized products (SPV) and is therefore seeking a dynamic and skilled Mechanical Engineer. The department receives enquiries from our sales companies in Denmark and abroad and undertakes the work of processing these.

The position:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you must prepare offers for special customisation of our entire product portfolio. The work covers everything from development and specification of solution proposals with the seller, cost price calculation, production preparation and final delivery of the product. It is therefore a requirement that with your professional knowledge you can ensure that the products still meet the functional and safety requirements after SPV processing. You will need to make minor mechanical adjustments to existing structures in 3D CAD.
As the department will help ensure EXHAUSTO’s earnings, you must have a good business sense.

Experience and qualifications:
You have a theoretical background such as a mechanical engineer or other relevant technical background and preferably a few years’ experience. Experience with industrial production will be an advantage and you may also have a professional background that gives your work a practical anchoring. An ever-increasing proportion of our products include cooling/heat pumps, so knowledge of this would be an advantage.
Knowledge of
You work independently with a great drive - but is still able to collaborate with the rest of the organisation. You seek out knowledge and information yourself, and you are happy to share knowledge and skills with the rest of the team. Your sense of responsibility and professional attitude ensure that what you promise is complied with.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in written and spoken English, and that you are familiar with Scandinavian languages. German is an advantage, but not a must.

- Dialogue with our sales companies about SPV queries
- Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements
- Contact with sub-suppliers
- Cost price calculation
- Prepare product documentation such as diagrams, drawings, parts lists, etc. for our production
- Prepare documentation in accordance with to the relevant standards, the Machinery Directive and especially EN60204 for use in our CE marking
- During certain periods, you will also be able to participate in the development department’s other projects.
