Job Description
In the context of a low oil price, TOTAL is looking for optimizing concepts to develop offshore oil and gas resources, at lower costs.
Among others, two initiatives have been launched internally:
1/ data collection (and analysis) of “TOTAL” existing platforms (worldwide) to assess more accurately future platform weights,
2/ technical definition of possible subsea developments concept in shallow waters (being competitive to a conventional offshore approach).
In this context, your objectives are the following:
• Fill in a database to build benchmark ratio for conventional offshore platforms
• Liaise with IT department to create a friendly environment for users of the database
• Assistance in data collection and catalogue issue for existing conventional offshore platforms and subsea developments in shallow water
• Analysis of trends and understanding of way of optimizations
You will also have to use your computer skill for other data processing to increase the efficiency of the preparation of the studies
• Collect data and provide Key Performance Indicators of development studies
• Update conceptual engineering worksheets and methods in liaison with technical specialists, with the data collected from TOTAL platforms. Update also the format of these worksheets in order to improve efficiency when data is transmitted to cost estimators.
Context and environment
The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates and the subsidiary will provide an accommodation.

Desired qualifications:
Master’s in engineering
Technical skills:
Engineering skills, ideally in the Oil&Gas
Computing skills:
Pack Office Windows – Excel Mastering (programming in an Excel environment is a plus)
Languages:
English: fluent
French: level B1 minimum
