What does the role of development engineer entail?
You will be part of a technically strong team that is dedicated to working with the development of future mechanical and process equipment. We are increasing the use of different robots and your main focus will be to develop and support this part of our business.
You will, alongside the department’s other employees and colleagues in both the Netherlands and Italy, play an active role in the overall development process. Therefore, you must thrive in an international environment which focuses on shared objectives.
As already mentioned, you will be part of the overall development process, be it the development of new products or the optimisation of existing ones. Tasks range from specification of requirements and brainstorming to 3D modelling, construction, and testing of prototypes. You will also be responsible for both implementation in our product configurator and follow-up during both production and after installation of the prototype at the client’s premises. The tool we use is 3D SolidWorks.
All processes are further developed and continuously optimised by our dedicated development teams at our three development centres in Denmark, the Netherlands and Italy, a total of 60 employees. You will be a part of our team in Denmark, collaborating periodically with colleagues in the Netherlands and Italy.
We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, pursuing structured courses of development based on the Stage-Gate model.

What does the role of development engineer entail?

- Generation of ideas for choice of concept
- Design and construction solutions
- Active co-player in the testing and 3D modelling of the new products in SolidWorks
- Work mainly with development projects using robots
- Participation in the testing and construction of prototypes
What we expect from you?
- You are a mechanical engineer with some years of experience in machinery and process development based on modern 3D design tools. SolidWorks experience would be an advantage but is not a must
- You are innovative and visionary, with a strong focus on creating solutions for the future
- You are committed and willing to absorb yourself in the task, thrive with more of the same going on at the same time, while still being able to stay in control and bring the task to completion by the agreed time
- You are good at formulating yourself in written and spoken English, and preferably also Danish
- You work independently, but also accept the obvious fact that team-based collaboration is part and parcel of the job.
