Sekstant™ Global Guidance ( see below) will provide reporting data to container operators wherever the reefers are located in the world. Key responsibilities
•Act as engineering lead – design and develop new concepts•Translate product and system strategy into features and requirements•Ensure critical knowledge and knowhow is secured internally in MCI•Write technical specifications•Assist in resolving technical questions and clarifications towards external suppliers•Anchor technical knowledge in-house•Act as engineering lead on various electronic development projects
We are looking for
In order to succeed in this job, it is expected that you have:•Several years of practical experience with embedded industrial system development, from specification to release of product•A degree in Electrical Engineering•Experience with embedded systems development: processor selection, various communication protocols, analog design, sensor design, low power design and various RF technologies•Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.•Experience working within a lab-based environment (soldering, oscilloscopes, data acquisition).•Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.•A structured and detail-oriented approach to your daily tasks.Your critical mindset ensures that you are able to work on several projects simultaneously without compromising quality. You take pride in taking full responsibility for driving your tasks and projects.Sekstant™ Global Guidance, (upcoming launch of Maersk Container Industry´s Sekstant – Global Guidance system for reefer digitalization is the company´s most significant technological breakthrough since the introduction of its Star Cool Reefer connectivity, Sekstant provides container operators with accurate data at any point along the transportation chain)
