Our vision is to disrupt the fashion industry by creating the world's first local, sustainable, and competitive alternative to the industrial status quo. We are developing a highly automated micro-factory that produces sustainable clothing. The production process is water-free, eliminates chemical waste, and surpasses existing alternatives in terms of speed, flexibility, and environmental footprint. We seek an experienced automation engineer with management skills to lead our groundbreaking micro-factory towards a robust and scalable solution. In this key role, you will tackle unique automation challenges and drive process innovations with industry-wide impact. Your expertise and insights will shape the future of our company and contribute to transforming the entire industry.

Your responsibilities

• Lead automation projects for our groundbreaking micro-factory located in Copenhagen and help establish the next micro-factories sites.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for a highly automated production line, with a focus on optimizing overall equipment efficiency and operational costs. This includes creating an automated pick and sort system, as well as a vision-aided quality control system, to significantly improve efficiency and product quality.
• Effectively communicate precise technical specifications to external partners and guide them towards achieving agreed-upon deliverables.
• Serve as a thought leader in ensuring scalable automation and the utilization of cutting-edge technologies in our micro-factory.

Your qualifications

• BSc. or MSc. degree in electromechanical, mechatronics, robotics, or a related engineering field.
• Proven hands-on experience in automation and development of production lines.
• Excellent communication skills, effectively conveying complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Passionate about machine tinkering and meticulous attention to detail.
