Your position
As our new Engineering Manager for our Renewables division, you will join a team of enthusiastic and collaborative engineers in the Large Projects department. From the onshore substation to and including the offshore substation and wind farm, our team covers every aspect involved in transmitting electricity from offshore turbines to the onshore grid.

Here, you will be driving and overseeing the entire engineering process from inception to successful completion, shaping the creation of large-scale, specialized platforms that truly make a difference in our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall project engineering scope. This includes assuming full technical responsibility within the commercial frames of the project (Cost, Time & Quality) including ensuring adherence to engineering budget, delivery time and customer and employee satisfaction. Our activities are currently centred in the offshore wind markets of Europe, Taiwan and the USA.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing estimates, offers and calculations during the budget & quotation phase of a project.
  • Organizing, planning, coordinating and following up on the Engineering scope of the project and ensuring that resources are allocated to the Engineering design team.
  • Communicating clear objectives through relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular meetings with the engineering design team to ensure updating of project status, milestone, objectives, and key performance indicators etc.
  • Securing interface alignment and assisting procurement during sub-supplier negotiations.
  • Ensuring delivery of all engineering documents and final documentation.
  • Conducting risk- and opportunity management.

Your profile & qualifications

Furthermore, you are able to exert influence, and have a proactive, analytic, organized and strategic approach to your daily work.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Engineering experience from the offshore industry.
  • A Bachelor or a Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Marine Engineering or another relevant background.
  • Strong communication skills that ensure high professional relationships with your stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
