Are you an experienced WTG trouble-shooter looking for new challenges? Would you like to join a team of highly competent and dedicated colleagues?
We are looking for new Technical Supervisors for our Turbine Operations Centre in Esbjerg, Denmark. You will be working on both day and night shifts.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be the technical expert at the Turbine Operations Centre, providing technical advice and input to the Operator. You will perform remote troubleshooting and fault-finding for all WTG types and Mk versions. To minimise the loss of production due to WTG breakdowns, you will support the Operator in responding to internal and external stakeholder requests.
From time-to-time, you will as Technical Supervisor also be deployed to service sites across the MHI Vestas fleet. This may be to support troubleshooting on site for particularly challenging issues but also to keep your technical competencies up-to-date.
You will also be responsible for:
Remote monitoring of offshore WTGs Reactive operation of offshore WTGs Support to field operation through remote operation Support to SCADA Support to HSE (e.g. during emergency situations) Support to power regulations and substation/grid maintenance Coordinate execution of ad-hoc STOP/START WTG requests Follow-up on SCADA events with Performance and Diagnostics Support root cause investigations

…is highly technically competent and has field experience working with WTG troubleshooting. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are only able to spot technical issues but also able to communicate these to your colleagues. You enjoy working in teams and thrive in a role where you work with many different personalities and functions.

Have a structured approach to your tasks Are self-motivated and quality-oriented Have good English communication skills Are a confident user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Have experience with SCADA tools (advanced level) Are flexible and willing to travel
