Novo Nordisk is looking for a hands-on Experienced Automation Technician/Engineer for our production in Hillerød
Do you want to be part of a strong Automation operation team, ensuring stable automation processes and optimizing the production time? Then you could be our new colleagues in Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) site Hillerød building 25A within Novo Nordisk, Product Supply.
About the department
You will be part of the local Automation team consisting of 10 highly skilled automation technicians and engineers. We work in a unit characterised by strong collaboration and good team spirit with the aim to support, optimize and develop the utilization of our IT and Automation solutions.
The job
Primarily the assignments are related to our automation solutions which directly or indirectly controls the production processes on our automated AGV Material Handling system and fully automated Assembly and Packing lines. We cover 24/7 automation support that cannot be handled directly in Technical Support on the lines. On-call duty is 4+3 days approximately 5 times per year (beginning after a 6-month initiation period). The responsibility of the Automation team is to maintain the production systems that are crucial for our factory. It is also the Automation team’s responsibility to implement changes, correct errors and optimize the automation systems as well as provide support to the Project Management Office when new equipment is implemented.
You will manage the expectations of customers, system owners, operators, quality assurance personnel and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of the Automation systems in cooperation with your colleagues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has an academic or technical background combined with working experience within complex automation systems. Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution System), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and various PLCs is a definite advantage. Experience working with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and the requirements of the authorities in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
Our every-day language is Danish (requirement), as it is important that we can communicate confidently with our primary stakeholders in production, but we also use English when we communicate on-site and in emails/phone with international machine-vendors.
As a person, you are structured and have a strong quality mind-set, providing support within your area of expertise. You are a strong team player and like collaborating with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to share or take lead on key improvement activities. You are thorough and find it natural also to work independently.
