AN GROUP is currently looking for a competent Automation engineer for the newly established department in Aarhus. The automation department is the latest addition for AN GROUP, which is in a positive development. AN GROUP already have automation departments located in Lynge, Kalundborg and Aalborg and we wish to strengthen our presence in Jutland with the establishment of the Aarhus department. At the Aarhus office there are currently about 10 employees, who primarily are working within IT-production.
The position
You will be highly involved in defining the position with the head of the department. As a starting point AN GROUP works with a wide range of projects within automation and IT-production, for the customers, primarily in Denmark but with projects Worldwide.
With the position follows a high degree of independence and freedom with responsibility, and it is a requirement that you can work autonomously most of the time. The tasks vary from minor tasks that you are expected to handle independently, possibly at the customer’s location, to bigger projects where you can be a part of a team. In both situations, will it be possible to discuss it with competent co-workers, who are always ready to help. AN GROUP works for several of the biggest industrial companies within Life science-, food- and machinery industry. This makes it possible to make use of a wide range of competences. Consequently, the right candidate is a competent automation engineer, that can understand the customers’ challenges and possibilities.

- Project management
- Technical clarification and specification
- Calculations, analysis, and planning
- PLC-, HMI- and SCADA-programming
- Vision- and robot programming
- Test and commissioning
- Minor service tasks in connection to provided solutions
Your qualifications
- Experience with the above- mentioned tasks
- Good communication skills, so you can communicate with your co-workers, the customers, and the suppliers
- A systematic and structured working style, which reflects on your tasks
- A responsible approach to your work and with insight into an efficient solution
- It is crucial that you are a highly skilled person with competences within the earlier mentioned fields, because AN GROUP has a strong policy around competences and quality. The customers expect a skillful and competent partner in you and AN GROUP.
- In addition, you thrive with a busy workday, with many tasks and relations both internally and externally. You are sufficient in your written and oral English communication
