This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals and become an important part of the construction of the Femern belt tunnel.
You will be responsible
The project will manage a large fleet of 40 overhead cranes, 5 tower cranes, 5 mobile cranes working on 24 h basis, 7 days a week. A part of this operation will be performed offshore, on pontoons.

He/she is leading the lifting section, with the mobile crane operators and assigned riggers.
He/she is an important member of the plant department and he/she reports directly to the Logistic Manager.
The Lifting supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the lifting operations, to revise the works method statements and risk assessment, to issue lifting plans (particularly for heavy or complex lifting), and review and approve lifting plans of subcontractors.
The Lifting Supervisor is one of the Appointed Persons.
His duty is also to verify that all lifting operations are performed by trained and qualified operators and riggers.
He/she must ensure that the crane operators and/or riggers conduct pre-task inspection before each lifting operation to ensure that the equipment is suitable, safe and correctly installed for the lifting operation.
He/she maintains register and organises the periodical inspection scheme of all Lifting Equipment,related accessories and lifting gears used on the project and ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with internal procedures and required standards.
He/she participates to the elaboration of lifting related internal procedures.
He/she prepares and performs daily pre-tasks and conducts weekly toolbox talks with the lifting team.

Duties

Through this responsibility, various tasks will be associated:

Staff scheduling in close coordination with the logistic and plant manager
Review and elaborate lifting plans
Plan and organise the periodical inspections of lifting equipment and lifting gears
Supervise heavy lifting and complex lifting.
Schedule necessary training and qualification of the operators and riggers under it is supervision.
Prepare and conduct pre-task meeting
Prepare and conduct lifting training to the project members
Coordinate with the mechanical and electrical workshop the maintenance of the equipment under his/her responsibility

Eligibility/Qualifications/Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of experience on civil works project.
Serious professional experience in lifting operation
Former experience in a similar position
Experience in off shore works
Experience in staff management
Social competence
Speaking fluently English
Certificate to operate mobile crane, lattice boom crane, crawler crane.
Knowledge of the Danish and European rules.
Knowledge of the common MS Office applications
A confident manner, team spirit and a reliable way of working
