Phillips-Medisize A/S continues to grow and right now, we are looking for a number of Mechan-ical Engineers for Global Innovation Development in Struer, Denmark.If you are interested in being part of project organization and passionate about creating unique products for people who need medical treatment it might be you, we are looking for.
About the position
You will participate in the specification of devices and make well-founded decisions about de-sign solutions, components, parts and materials to ensure safety and effectiveness of the me-chanical design.Major parts of your job as a mechanical engineer are analysis, simulation, detail design de-scriptions, implementation, estimation, documentation, planning and coordination, all based on Phillips Medisize’s Mechanical Design Life-cycle Processes
What we are looking for in you:
Professional qualificationsMaster or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering either with a few years of experience or newly graduated with solid qualifications.If you have knowhow with kinematics, tolerance analysis, mathematical modelling, FEM/FEA, ProE/Creo, DFA/DFM, GPS, it is perfect. You have interest in working within a regulated device industry like the medical industry.
Personal qualifications
You are an analytical and theoretical solid Mechanical engineer. You are proactive, result ori-ented and a self-motivated team player with a holistic mindset. You have an interest in me-chanical mechanisms, development and human centered design. You thrive by solving com-plex problems using kinematics, dynamics, mechatronics and other engineering skills. It is es-sential that you understand the importance of maintaining a high level of quality and docu-mentation. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
