You will be providing service/maintenance/customer support for 40 hydrogen fuel cell busses operational in Cologne/Wuppertal and the surrounding area.

You will be providing service/maintenance/customer support for 40 hydrogen fuel cell busses operational in Cologne/Wuppertal and the surrounding area.
We need your skills in the following areas:
- Performing scheduled product maintenance, test or upgrade activities
- Operating, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
- Perform routine after-sales support of product, including troubleshooting and repair of fuel cell modules and its components
- Assist with non-routine or advanced support activities
- Provide input to work instructions and other documentation
We are offering:
- A highly flexible work environment
- Comprehensive training in a new, zero-emission technology, working together with experienced Danish technicians in Denmark
- A workplace in which you will be asked to plan/schedule customers site visits and service needs, together with Ballard’s site admin
- All tools including electronics, needed to work as an independent service technician, effectively and efficient
- The opportunity of being part of leading local fuel cell systems start up including many exciting future projects
We expect that you:
- Have training and/or education as automotive/truck/bus technician/mechanic/electrician
- Can read and understand wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings
- Have experience in electric fault-finding on a vehicle
- Possess good communication skills
- Are a self-motivated individual who excels working in an autonomous environment
- Can speak, read and write German and English
Additional Consideration:2
- Class B driver license required.
- Own your own car and mobile phone. The usage of your car and phone will be reimbursed as you apply it for work use.
