In a fast-moving, and ever-changing business, AGCO’s Innovation Center in Randers, Denmark, is searching for a new mechanical engineer to support our technology development projects within the Harvesting product group.
Though based locally in Randers, you will become part of our global Engineering organization and play a key role in the development of advanced technologies and concepts for our global product portfolio of harvesting machineries and related technologies and services.

Tasks & responsibilities
As a mechanical engineer in AGCO’s Innovation Center in Randers, you will work alongside the design teams for crop flow and crop processing development along with supporting concept development, functional testing and the final reliability validation of the final design and products. Tasks & responsibilities
As a mechanical engineer in AGCO’s Innovation Center in Randers, you will work alongside the design teams for crop flow and crop processing development along with supporting concept development, functional testing and the final reliability validation of the final design and products. Your main tasks will be the following:
- Ideation and trend scouting enabling future technology concepts and system solutions in agriculture
- Direct communication with global design teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and end-users to identify, understand and prioritize requirements
- Design of experiments for crop processing applications in an agricultural environment (virtual, lab and field environments)
- Analysis, evaluation, and presentation of test results
- Close collaboration with global engineering design teams for iterative design validation and optimization
Competences and qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Broad experience with system analysis, validation, and development of mechanical systems
- Specific experience with combines or other harvesting/ agriculture machinery is a great advantage
- Practical experience with service and operation of agriculture machinery is an advantage
- Experience with CREO or similar 3D CAD design tools
- Experience with Python and/or Glyphworks is an advantage but not necessary

- It's a huge plus if you are proactive by nature and motivated by continually shaping and reshaping your own role in supporting the global team objectives
- Open to travel as needed to AGCO sites, customers and field test locations across most of the world
