Urschel International Limited is the European Sales and Service arm of Urschel Laboratories. It currently has 11 businesses across Europe, turnover of USD 48 million and 87 employees. Urschel Nordic is located in Denmark, is part of the Urschel International Group and is responsible for the provision of sales and service in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Greenland and Iceland .
The company is now looking for a service technician.
Duties
The technician will be responsible for:
· Carrying out maintenance and repair to Urschel machines and installing parts at customer locations
· After sales machine support and training at customer locations
· Provision of detailed demonstration and service reports to customer following visits
· Machine start up at customer sites including the provision of training to staff
· Organisation of service schedules and making appointments with customers
· Maintaining and increasing the number of customer service agreements
· Updating the company CRM system with details of tests and results and details of chargeable visits to customers.
· Working with other Urschel technical staff to support customer requirements
· Completion of other miscellaneous workshop assistance and administration work as required
The role will involve significant travel within the territories covered by the Nordic office including Northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia. The employee will be based in the area of the company office, but will be expected to spend a high proportion of their time travelling. There will also be occasional other travel within Europe
Skills required.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Formal qualifications are not essential but the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a strong level of competency and be able to work on their own or as a part of a team. They must be familiar with mechanical engineering and have had some exposure to electrical circuits.
They must be able to plan and organise their time efficiently and show a high degree of attention to detail in their work.
Drivers license category B is needed.
