Nordisk Perlite is a family owned company with a niche production of Vulcanic stone. We work in an international environment with employees from all over the world. We produce our perlite in ovens at a temperature around 900C – where after we use a special developed heatexchange system to remove waste energy – as the only perlite producers in the world. After this we process the perlite to get it in different fractions depend on the customers product wishes. Our products are you used in various industries like: Food, Pharma, personal care, construction, paints and coatings.
We are looking for new employees, who has the right qualifications to become supervisors for our production lines. The job as supervisor is not an easy job, but it is an exciting opportunity to develop yourself in various fields and get a great experience within leadership and production. The job will contain various task like:
- Delegate the work
- Plan the crew
- Supervise the crew
- Set the production, surveil it and adjust.
- Make lab test of products, and secure a proper quality of products and packaged goods.
- Reschedule production if needed
- Solve simple issues in production
- Bring new ideas to the management how to optimize the work
It is expected that you are willing to go in and give a hand when needed in the production, but also willing to start in a combi training session, where you will learn how the people you will supervise will work, so you got an understanding, but also how the furnace etc. is working.
We are looking for people who are flexible, hardworking, responsible, positive of mindset, able to keep many balls in the air and keep head cool in stressed situation, self-helped and who comes at time. We expect you have some sort of technical background which will make your life easier to understand how our production equipment is working, when we have explained. It will be a benefit to have some sort of experience from production (but not a demand) and be holding a forklift license (not a demand).
We work mainly with 2(sometimes 3 shifts), which we will be rotated.
- Morning shift: 7.00-16.00
- Evening shift: 15.00-24.00
As we rotate the shifts you have to be able to go on both shifts
