Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with extensive mechanical engineering experience in the manufacturing and process industry?

Your role
In the position of Mechanical Engineer, you will ensure timely delivery of conceptual, definition, and detailed design for development enhance production, and improve safety and environmental performance.
In cooperation with the Process team, the Electrical team, and the Test team, you will be involved in developing process technical solutions to pressurized alkaline electrolyzers, from a selection of components, dimensioning of piping systems to control of the electrolysis system and the testing of it.
Your key responsibilities will cover:
You will have responsibility for a specific space volume and make sure the design meets its interfaces and complies with the specifications and demands of the product. You are also an important part of driving mechanical competencies across the organization.
To succeed in this role, you have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a degree at a BSc or MSc level in mechanical engineering or similar. Preferably, experience from HAZOP, HAZID, and design reviews as well as a great interest in modeling and technical engineering.
If you have experience working in an agile environment using scrum, maybe as a scrum master or team member, it is a plus.
To succeed in this position, you need to be a good stakeholder.
As a person, you are self-driven, pay attention to details, are structured, and have a systematic approach. You take responsibility and ownership of your own competencies and work areas. It is an advantage if you are innovative, outgoing, and can pursue things on your own.

Your role

- Development of mechanical designs and innovative solutions.
- Preparation of requirements specification.
- Mechanical solutions like pipes for hydrogen, oxygen, water, lye, and cooling systems.
- Deliver designs according to P&ID.
- Dimensioning of mechanical constructions and pipes in relation to strength and stress.
- Design according to EN13445/ASME BPVC VIII-1. EN13480/ASME B31.3 to fulfill PED.
- Selection of mechanical components.
- 3D layout and modeling and 2D drawing in Solid Works.
- Establishment of relevant documentation.
- Support during prototype assembly.
- Ensure delivery according to specification, time, and costs.
