We are looking for determined and dedicated experienced Lead Mechanical Engineers, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), or Expert Engineers/Machinists to ensure that our customers receive the best-in-class mechanical consultancy for their projects, ranging from conceptual design to installation and commissioning. It will be considered a positive if you have knowledge of international networks, such as standardization organizations or committees. Your working days will be multifaceted, but one thing is for sure: you will feel the unity of our four mechanical departments of 75 skilled and helpful colleagues supporting you – and you'll have access to more than 100 different educational backgrounds throughout the organization.
We are a digital player, using our own tools in conjunction with large plant systems to create early studies, design solutions, and specifications for our clients. We offer an exciting project environment that allows you to continue growing with new ways of working, such as using Dalux (AR/XR) to inspect building sites, or P&I diagrams to follow fast-track projects and ensure the right mechanical installations.
We do not expect you to know it all, as we ourselves need to develop and be open-minded to constantly find the right solu-tions. We are ready to welcome our new colleague(s) with a professional onboarding program and internal courses and train-ing that keep our biggest asset – you – developed for the long run.

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
Leading a group of colleagues preparing engineering/technical project tasks
Preparing design specifications and supporting the selection and procurement of process equipment.
Providing SME level support to complex process challenges and mechanical design within the GMP segment
Supporting the development of our Mechanical Engineering System through standardization.

How you might spend your days
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
Leading a group of colleagues preparing engineering/technical project tasks
- Coordinate technical work
- Set out technical directions
- Technical trouble shooting
Preparing design specifications and supporting the selection and procurement of process equipment.
- Tendering and contract work.
- Executing projects in the construction phase by supervising contractors and suppliers.
- Planning and controlling FAT/SAT activities.
Providing SME level support to complex process challenges and mechanical design within the GMP segment
- Dimensioning and specification of mechanical equipment e.g. heat exchangers, pumps etc.
- Dimensioning and specification of pipes and components
- Specification and design of Tank and Vessels
Supporting the development of our Mechanical Engineering System through standardization.
- Developing and designing engineered solutions to complex problems through individual contribution and/or by leading teams of engineers.

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have at least ten years of experience working as a Lead with GMP design of tanks, pressure equipment, installations, and other related engineering challenges.
- You have worked as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), providing rationale for technical solutions.
- You have GMP experience from the process, pharmaceutical, or life science industry.
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering, machinist, or a similar technical field.
