For our customers in Denmark, we are now looking for experienced Working Environment Coordinators (WEC) for the construction (B) phase on various major and long-term building and construction projects, including infrastructure such as offshore cabling, gas and district heating pipes as well as datacenters.
You might have a technical or craftsman background, supplemented with the Danish Working Environment Coordinator (“Arbejdsmiljøkoordinator”) certificate. Therefore, you have already obtained solid hands-on experience with and knowledge of the Danish Working Environment Authority's rules for health, safety and working environment at construction sites.
Depending on the nature of the project and the customer, you will work with the following tasks:
You must be able to work and stay in Denmark. Naturally, you master English at a high level, in both writing and speaking. It is a great advantage if you also speak and understand some Danish. Moreover, you are also used to using different IT tools during your workday.
Being a WEC, you take the lead, and you are a role model for creating a safe and healthy working environment on the construction site. You have the ability to cooperate with many different stakeholders, resulting in a healthy attitude and safe behavior on site, through your constructive dialogue and systematic influence.
Your work approach is well-structured, and your working style is systematic. You thrive on being an important part of teamwork as well as delivering an independent effort. As a WEC, you can both listen and adapt, as well as stand firm when your initiatives are challenged.

- drawing up an overall plan for safety and health (“Plan for sikkerhed og sundhed”)
- supervision and follow-up
- conducting and documenting safety rounds
- cooperating with HSE Managers at the main contractor
- supervising access control and RUT (registration of foreign workers)
- cultural development within the working environment
- introducing new employees to the construction site
- attending relevant (safety) meetings
- coordination with relevant stakeholders
- assessment of the nature of the work and working environment risks
- planning and implementation of the client's initiatives with regards to safety, health and working environment
- performing various written reports
- case processing, investigation and follow-up on incidents
