Animal welfare – Quality management system – Veterinary authorization
Do you have a master’s in veterinary science and want to be part of implementing and certifying a quality management system with opportunities to contribute to the development of an international growth company?
As our Supervising Veterinarian and Quality Assurance manager at VikingGenetics, you will be in a highly responsible role with a significant influence on the company's animal welfare and quality process development. You will also be part of an organization characterized by a multicultural work environment, quick decision-making processes, and a strong workplace community. The aim is that the position is fulltime, however it may be possible to agree on a parttime position depending on the situation.
You will be the key person to implement and certify Quality management system and as our Supervising Veterinarian you will secure health status and coordinate treatment of our bulls and heifers in our stations and participate in Biosecurity with documentation and certificates. You will also be part of our export work towards authorities regarding legislation of animal welfare, semen and embryo export and import.
To be considered in this role you need a master’s in veterinary science, have Danish Veterinary authorization and experience in cattle, import, export, and certification. You also need experience in developing and managing Quality management systems. Fluency in spoken and written business English is required.
As a person you must have a good analytical capability as well as “understanding the numbers” and must balances resources and various interests. You will understand how to deal with an organization which is geographically spread out and consists of different cultures and you must work well with diversity and be is actively engaged in constantly developing the organization. You are ambitious, visionary, understands complexity and can identify opportunities in a changing market. You will be good at prioritizing initiatives in the short and long term and be dedicated to deliver as required.
